Trinity had a monster second half, outscoring Bowdoin, 41-17, after clinging to a 38-35 lead at halftime.  Rookie forward Kualim Johnson (West Boylston, Mass.) made a steal and scored on a layup tp start the second frame and sophomore Gilbert Otoo (Burtonsville, Md.) drilled a 2- and a 3-pointer to push the Trinity lead to double digits at 45-35 less than five minutes after the break.  Bowdoin closed to 47-41 moments later on a jumper by James McGowan, but Trinity answered with a 13-4 run to extend its advantage to 60-45 midway through the second half.  Senior tri-captain guard Tyler Mola (Leominster, Mass.) scored six of the 13 for the Bantams, who went on an 11-2 run that included three Callahan-Gold 3-pointers in less than a minute, soon after to put the game away.

Otoo and Trinity first-year Will Dorion (Needham, Mass.) joined Callahan-Gold in double figures in scoring with 11 points apiece, including all 11 of Dorion's in the first half.  Trinity first-year guard Ethan McEachern (Portland, Oregon) had seven rebounds and seven assists while scoring all nine of his points in the first half.  McGowan paced the Polar Bears with 16 points and Bowdoin's Taige Kagitomi added 10 points.  Trinity held Bowdoin to 28.6 percent field goal shooting and forced 16 turnovers while committing just seven.
