Box Score CLINTON, N.Y. – Fred Allaire netted two goals while Grisha Gotovets tucked away the game winner in overtime for Hamilton College to take down the Trinity College men's ice hockey team, 4-3 in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) action on Saturday afternoon. The Bantams are now 9-7 overall with a 7-5 mark in conference play while Hamilton improves to 6-7 (5-6 NESCAC). Next up for Trinity is a 7 p.m. tilt on the road at Middlebury College on Friday, Feb. 4. Meanwhile, the Hamilton College Continentals travel to Brunswick, Maine for a showdown at Bowdoin College same day, same time.
Hamilton started things off just three minutes into action with Allaire burying an even strength goal to give the home team an early one-score lead. Sophomore defenseman
Ned Blanchard (West Hartford, Conn.) scored the first goal for the Bantams at the 7:57 mark to tie the game.

Jax Murray (Minneapolis, Minn.) gave Trinity a 2-1 lead less than a minute following Blanchard's goal but Hamilton was able to answer before the end of the first period, thanks to Allaire who netted his second goal on the evening (15:01).
The Continentals struck first in the third period on a power play goal from Nick Rutigliano but it was sophomore
Devan Tongue (Hampden, Mass.) who responded nearly a minute later to once again knot things up for the Bantams, bringing the score to 3-3 and ultimately forcing the overtime period.
Hamilton outshot the Bantams 51-47 with sophomore
Patrick Pugliese (Pasadena, Calif.) tying a career-high 34 saves in net for the Blue and Gold. Continentals' goaltender, Charlie Archer made 27 stops on the evening for the home squad.
