HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College women's basketball team will host its third annual "Pride Game" on Friday, February 4 when the Bantams square off with Tufts University at 7 p.m. in Ray Oosting Gymnasium.
"We're excited to host a 'Pride Game' and use athletics as a platform to promote inclusion and belonging," said Trinity women's basketball Head Coach
Emily Garner. "Our game is meant to create a space to support the LGBTQ+ community and raise awareness for charitable organizations that work to support and promote diversity and belonging."
For those who wish to donate, the Trinity College women's basketball team recommends donating to The Trevor Project which is "the world's largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) young people."
The Bantams are 11-4 this season and are tied for second place in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) with a 3-1 conference record. Junior
