HARTFORD, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantams won their first dual meet of the season and their first under new head coach
Hannah Hagy, 208-83, against the visiting Babson College Beavers in women's swimming and diving action this afternoon at Trinity Natatorium. Babson drops to 4-4. Trinity hits the water again tomorrow for a tri-meet at home with the Colby College Mules and the Hamilton College Continentals.
The Trinity foursome of junior
Marissa Lopez-Ona (Philadelphia, Pa.), sophomore
Isabelle Tagliaferro (Bedford, N.H.) and first-years
Niamh Kastner (Williamsburg, Va.) and
Rachel Kim (Leonia, N.J.) combined to win nine individual races and a first-place time of 1:50.14 to win the 200-yard medley relay. Lopez-Ona also won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.55), the 200-yard breaststroke (2:27.44), and the 200-yard IM (2:15.65). Tagliaferro was first in both the 50-yard free (25.42) and the 100-yard free (54.87). Kim won both backstroke races with a time of 1:00.57 in the 100-yard event and a 2:13.61 in the 200-yard back. Kastner touched first in both the 200-yard butterfly (2:09.81) and the 100-yard fly (59.50).
Addison Dunham (Concord, Mass.) joined Tagliaferro, Kastner and Kim to close out the meet with a winning time of 1:43.54 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Rachel Papalski (Flemington, N.J.) won the 500-yard free with a time of 5:29.34 and Dunham was first in the 200-yard free (2:01.61). Trinity went 1-2-3 in the 100-yard breaststroke with senior
Avery Rowland (Wilton, Conn.) and sophomore
Lauren Bessette (Ponte Vedra, Fla.) coming in right behind Lopez-Ona in the race. In diving, first-year
Cassandra Cronin (North Easton, Mass.) and sophomore
Bridget Kahan (Lewiston, Maine) were first and second off both boards for the Bantams.
