Ben Callahan-Gold (New York, N.Y.) had 17 points, five rebounds, and two blocks to lead the Trinity College Bantams to an 88-33 win over the visiting City College of New York Beavers in men's basketball action this evening on Ogrodnik Court in Oosting Gymnasium. Trinity improves to 9-0 for the first time since 2003-04 and will play at Western New England tomorrow at 3 p.m. in its last game for the end of classes. CCNY falls to 4-5.
Trinity never trailed against the Beavers, going ahead 2-0 on layup off the oprning tip by sophomore forward
Sean Macarchuk (Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y.) and opening up a double-digit advantage at 21-9 midway through the first half on a drive by rookie guard

Jarrel Okorougo (Stoneham, Mass.) gave Trinity a 37-13 in the final minute of the first half with a thunderous dunk from senior captain Joe Hoch (South Ozone Park, N.Y.). Ahmen Luqman made a three-pointer for the Beavers in the closing seconds before the break.
Trinity shot 59.5 percent from the field in the second half, outscoring CCNY, 51-17, after intermission, and finished with a 45-to-20 rebounding advantage in the game. Okorougo scored 12 points and added two steals and a block off the bench, while junior
