DAVENPORT, Fla. - Rookie RHP Michael Aceto (Hamden, Conn.) won his first career game, allowing just two unearned runs, no hits, and striking out four, to lead the Trinity College Bantams to an 11-4 victory over the SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers in RussMatt Central Florida Invitational baseball action this afternoon.  Trinity improves to 4-3 heading into its next matchup on Thursday against Benedictine (Ill.).

Trinity scored five times in the second inning, including the first two on a homer by senior OF Colin Mann (Dedham, Mass.) who went on to drive in another run with a single in the sixth frame to make the score, 6-2, and the Bantams held a comfortable lead the rest of the way.  Mann finished 2-for-3 at the plate with two runs, three RBIs, and two walks.  Four other Bantams had two hits, while senior RHP Will Simeone (MIlton, Mass.) struck out seven in three innings of relief work for the Bantams.
