Taylor Mikolajczak (John's Creek, Ga.) went 2-for-3 with three runs, two steals, a triple, and an RBI to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 7-2 victory over the Buffalo State College Bengals in The Spring Games softball action this afternoon. Trinity, which had its second game today against Manchester canceled due to rain, improves to 5-3 heading into its final day in Florida with games against Grinnell and Gustavus Adolphus scheduled for tomorrow. Buffalo State drops to 3-7.
Trinity went ahead, 4-0, early with two runs in each of the first two innings. Mikolajczak scored the game's first run on a double steal and senior co-captain

Michaela Russell (Boston, Mass.). In the second frame, Mikolajczak tripled home another run and scored on two-out double by Russell that also chased Buffalo State starter Cari Bogue from the game.
The Bengals cut Trinity's lead in half with runs in the third and fourth innings, but the Bantams got both runs back in the fifth on two walks, three wild pitches, and an RBI groundout by sophomore
