HARTFORD, Conn. – Senior
Christine Taylor (Westport, Conn.) scored four goals to lead the Trinity College women's lacrosse team to a 17-4 win over Union College on Pride Night in non-conference action at Robin L. Sheppard field on Tuesday night. The Bantams improve to 8-5 overall while Union drops to 4-7. Trinity resumes action Saturday at 12 p.m. in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) matchup against Colby College which currently sits in second place amongst the NESCAC standings. Saturday also marks Senior Day for the Bantams.

Mackenzie Rosenberg (North Attleboro, Mass.) registered her second goal of the season for the home squad's seventh tally of the game. In the third quarter,
Grace Coe (Chatham, N.J.) extended Trinity's lead to 13-2 (11:07) as the senior joined Rosenberg with her second goal on the year. Union's Grace Heiting scored all three of the Dutchwomen's second-half goals while Greta Maurer added the first tally in the second period for the visitors. Lilianna Khosrowshah,

Junior
Alisyn McNamara (North Hampton, N.H.) led Trinity on the defensive end with three caused turnovers and three ground balls. Senior
Gabriella Young (Winnetka, Ill.) and sophomore
Alyssa Vitale (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) combined for five saves in net for the Bantams while Hannah Dubinsky and Jenna Paszek totaled 10 saves for the visitors.
