HADLEY, Mass. – Three members of the Trinity College Field Hockey team were recognized as All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) selections, announced by the league office Tuesday. Seniors
Katrina Winfield (Wilmington, Del.) and
Jackie Frank (Longmeadow, Mass.) received First Team status, while senior
Olivia McMichael (Glenside, Pa.) was voted to the Second Team.
Winfield led the Bantams offensively during the 2023 campaign, posting team-highs in goals (14, including three game-winning goals, and points (31) in 16 games started. Katrina ranked fourth in the NESCAC in points, while ranking fifth in game-winning goals, sixth in goals, and eighth in shots on goal.
Frank was second on the Bantams in goals with nine, featuring three game-winning goals, and points with 21 in 16 games started. Jackie ranked fourth in the NESCAC in shots on goal (45), sixth in shots (67), sixth in game-winning goals and tenth in goals. This is the third time Frank has been selected to the All-NESCAC team, receiving Second Team selections as a sophomore and junior.
McMichael continued her run as one of the top goalkeepers in the NESCAC after taking home First Team honors in 2022. Olivia registered a 1.85 goals against average with 87 saves, a 76.3 save percentage and four shutouts in 15 games started. McMichael ranked second in the conference in saves, third in saves per game (5.8), and seventh in goals against average.
