Trinity improved to 9-4 on the season with back-to-back wins at home this week, while Salve Regina dropped to 11-4. The team remains at home as it hosts its first New England Small College Athletic Conference opponent Colby College in game one of a three-game series on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Sean Meth (Port Washington, N.Y.) ignited the three-run third inning after a short single to the pitcher that allowed Chow to score, after the senior stole second base to get into scoring position. Tyler Bernstein (Ponte Vedra, Fla.) scored on the next play as Jack Ryan (Bethesda, Md.) grounded into a double play, followed by an unearned run by Jack Mathews (Westport, Conn.) who crossed home after Patrick Dillon (Bronx, N.Y.) reached first off an error by the left fielder. Trinity tacked on a fourth run in the bottom of the fifth as Meth started on first base with two outs on the board, but three-straight passed balls brought home the junior.

A single and a double brought the final two Seahawks home before a fly out to Chow sealed the final out of the lengthy sixth inning.

With rookie Dylan Schnitzer (Huntington, N.Y.) on first base and one out, Chow's home run knotted the game 6-6 followed by runs by Bernstein and the eventual game-winner by Meth. Bernstein found himself in scoring position after stealing second base and advanced to third off a throwing error by the catcher. Ryan doubled to right field allowed Meth to come off after four balls put the infielder on the bags.

With the bases loaded in back-to-back plays, Jonathan Link struck out a swinging Seahawk and only allowed one to score in the seventh inning to keep the Bantams in fighting shape. An excellent fielding play by Bernstein to Ryan to deny Christian Homa a run for the Seahawks highlighted the frame for the second out.
