Rogers ignited the opening game with a sacrifice fly to right field as

Mikolajczak led off the first with an infield triple along the warning track of centerfield to quickly get into scoring posltion before Rogers in the three hole. Tiffany Stowers (Burke, Va.) pitched a 1-2-3 second inning for the juniors seventh win of the season in seven innings of work with two runs on six hits, a single walk and one strikeout.
Middlebury came out swinging in the second game with a pair of runs to open the first inning, before Trinity brought home six Bantams in the third frame. Mikolajczak's single up the middle kick started the rally as Gillette and
Erin Steed (Orland, Ill.) rounded home to tie the game at 2-2. Rogers doubled to right field as Mikolajczak and
Rebecca Cassel-Siskind (Philadelphia, Pa.) crossed the plate. Trinity padded the third with two more runs as
Gianna Tito (East Hanover, N.J.) and Rogers scored before Gillette scored off a wild pitch in the fourth inning. A homer out of right center narrowed the deficit for the visitors to four in the fifth inning.
