HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Women's Volleyball squad rallied from a first-set loss to defeat visiting Amherst College, 3-1 (17-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-19), in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) battle at Oosting Gymnasium Saturday afternoon. The Bantams rise to 17-3 overall and 5-3 in conference play, while the Mammoths slide to 1-7 in NESCAC action and 10-8 on the season.

Senior
Eva Lekovic led the Bantams attack with a match-high 15 kills and five digs. Junior
Ellie Gordon notched 11 kills with three digs and two blocks, while senior
Ava Boloyan added seven kills, four digs and two blocks. The tandem of junior
Caroline Howell and senior
Grace Sullivan dished out 17 and 16 assists, respectively. Howell chipped in 12 digs for her eighth double-double of the season. Sophomore

Kaila Dowd served up a team-high three aces in the win.

Amherst had five players with at least six kills, paced by a team-high nine kills, 10 digs and five service aces from Charlotte Rasmussen. Ellie Myers contributed seven kills, while sophomore Brielle Renwick, Kinsey Cronin, and sophomore Allie McLaughlin each tallied six kills. Junior Renee Liou doled out a match-high 34 assists with 10 digs, and senior Lizzie Papalia snared a team-high 18 digs for the Mammoths.

The Bantams will return to the court when they host Clark University in a non-conference match Friday at 7:00 p.m.
