HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Volleyball squad captured a four-set victory over visiting Clark University, 3-1 (25-21, 17-25, 25-13, 25-15), in a non-conference match at Oosting Gymnasium Friday night. The Bantams rise to 18-3 on the season, while the Cougars drop to 11-9 overall. The Bantams hit the 18-win plateau for the sixth time in program history, and match the record for third-most wins in a season.

Prior to the match, the Bantams recognized their seven departing seniors:
Ava Boloyan (American Canyon, Calif.),
Kaila Dowd (Kennesaw, Ga.),
Eva Lekovic (San Marino, Calif.),
Emma Shorten (Redding, Conn.),
Grace Sullivan (Fort Worth, Texas),
Julia Torre (Cape Elizabeth, Maine), and
Bella Caffuzzi (Brooklyn, N.Y.).

Five Bantams registered seven or more kills in the match, including a trio of double-digit kill performances. First-year
Annette Schlunk racked up a team-high 13 kills with four digs, while Lekovic tallied 11 kills, two digs and a block. Boloyan slammed a season-high 10 kills with five digs and a block, and Caffuzzi notched a match-high four blocks with eight kills. Junior
Ellie Gordon added seven kills and three blocks. Shorten dished out a career-high 16 assists with a career-high seven digs, while Sullivan recorded a double-double with 14 assists and 14 digs. Junior
Caroline Howell added 10 assists and eight digs, and sophomore
Scarlett Jago snagged a team-high 17 digs in the win.

Graduate Victoria Pastor led the Cougars with a team-high 12 kills with 10 digs. Graduate Sofia Scherrer del Llano registered a double-double with a match-high 24 digs and 10 kills and two blocks, while first-year Isabella Alcott tallied 10 kills and six digs. Senior Yvanna Torres doled out a match-high 23 assists.

The Bantams will return to the court for a non-conference match against Norwich University Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Clark travels to MIT Tuesday for a 6:30 p.m. match.
