CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Trinity College Football senior kicker
Matthew Jumes (Franklin, Mass.) was selected to the 2024 New England Football Writers (NEFW) Division II/III All-New England Team, announced on Monday.

Jumes earns back-to-back NEFW All-New England honors, becoming the fifth player in program history to claim All-New England status twice, joining Walter Fallas (2010, 2011), Joe Magardino (2013, 2014),
Chris Simmons (2016, 2017), and Austin Baiardi (2018, 2019), and the first kicker in program history to be a two-time honoree.

Jumes is one of six players representing the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) on the team, joining Bates' Ryan Lynskey (running back), Middlebury's Thomas Perry (offensive line), and Wesleyan's Ben Carbeau (linebacker), Dylan Connors (defensive back) and Chase Wilson (wide receiver).

Jumes becomes the second kicker in program history to receive three straight NESCAC First Team All-Conference selections, joining Erich Sachse (2016-18). Jumes was perfect on the season, connecting on 7-of-7 field goal attempts and 37-of-37 PATs. Jumes ranked fourth in the conference in scoring and second among kickers with 58 points. Jumes finishes his career as the program leader in field goals made (32), field goals attempted (37), field goal percentage (.865), PATs made (157), and PATs attempted, and ranks third all-time in PAT percentage (.963).

The team will be honored at the New England Football Writers Captains and Awards Banquet on Thursday, December 12, at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel and Conference Center.
