HARTFORD, Conn. – Trinity College senior defender Izzy Deveney has been named to the 2024 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Senior Team for Division III, the organization announced Thursday.

Deveney is one of 60 athletes selected from 46 Division III institutions for this prestigious honor. The recognition celebrates their exceptional performances during the season, as well as their leadership and contributions to the sport both on and off the field.

The Bantams' standout defender had a remarkable 2024 season, earning a spot on the All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Second Team and receiving All-Academic honors. Deveney also set the Trinity field hockey program's single-season defensive save record with 7 saves, and she became the program's all-time leader in career defensive saves with 20.
