Box Score HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Women's Basketball team led wire-to-wire in a 93-56 victory over visiting Stevens Institute of Technology in a non-conference game at Oosting Gymnasium Saturday afternoon. The Bantams improve to 6-2 on the season, while the Ducks dip to 3-4 overall.

The Bantams had six players record eight or more points in the win, led by sophomore
Olivia Vick with a game-high 16 points, four rebounds and three assists. Junior
Theresa Twardosky poured in 15 points off the bench, shooting 6-of-8 from the floor with a trio of three-pointers, with three rebounds, while sophomore
Madi Forman tallied 13 points, two rebounds and two assists. Sophomore
Marlo Simms registered career-highs in points (9) and rebounds (9), and junior
Samantha Slofkiss grabbed a team-high nine rebounds with eight points. Junior
Lucy Dorion had eight points, two rebounds and two assists, while sophomore
Lucy Palmer dished out a career-high five assists.

Senior Lucy Alberici paced the Ducks with a team-high 15 points, two rebounds and two assists. Junior Olivia Schubiger notched 10 points with a team-high three assists, and classmate Isabella Duval added nine points off the bench.

 The Bantams jumped to an 8-0 lead in the opening three minutes behind buckets from Forman, junior
Melissa Whitmore, Vick and senior
Hannah Marzo. Trailing 12-2, the Ducks trimmed the gap to 12-7 on a basket from Alberici at the 4:40 mark. Trinity rattled off a 12-2 run over the final stretch of the first quarter, featuring five points from Vick, to take a 24-9 advantage.

Trinity carried their momentum into the second quarter using a 12-6 run, powered by eight points from Forman, to expand the lead to 36-15 with 5:58 on the clock. Dorion delivered a pair of buckets, and then Twardosky buried back-to-back triples to help send the Bantams into halftime with a 53-26 lead.

Trinity continued to add to their advantage in the third quarter, executing a 16-3 run, ignited by eight straight points from Vick, as the lead swelled to 69-29 at the 4:47 mark. The Ducks outscored the Bantams, 10-5 to close the third quarter, setting the score at 74-39 entering the final quarter.

The Bantams reserves held the Bantams offensive surge as Slofkiss and Simms scored four points, and sophomore
Amaya Pendleton added three points. Juniors

Maya Carnes knocked down late baskets to send Trinity to the 93-56 victory.

Trinity dominated the glass (48-27), points in the paint (56-22), and second-chance points (25-2). The Bantams bench outscored the Ducks bench, 51-20, during the game. Trinity shot 38-of-74 (51.4%) from the field, including 7-of-17 (41.2%) from three-point range and 10-of-15 (66.7%) from the foul line. Stevens converted 22-of-62 (35.5%) from the floor, 5-of-21 (23.8%) from three-point and 7-of-15 (46.7%) from the free throw stripe.

The Bantams will be back in action with a non-conference road trip to Albertus Magnus College (4-3) on Monday, December 9 at 7:00 p.m.
