BRUNSWICK, Me. - #9 Bantams Hockey sweeps Bowdoin, 3-0 with 17 saves from Hannah Leclair and a well balanced performance from the attack. Trinity lifts their record to (14-5-2, 7-5-2), while the Polar Bears drop (8-13-3, 3-10-3) overall.
Leclair began the afternoon with five saves in the first twenty-minutes of play, adding eight more in the second and four in the third. The senior goaltender never wavered in net, both her and the Bantams defense stood tall holding the Polar Bears to zero goals despite seven power-play opportunities.
Trinity's offense broke through Bowdoin's defense in the second period with a goal at the 14:22 mark from Paige Kehoe to begin the Bantams' reign. Kehoe became a key component within Trinity's scoring as she assisted both Martina Exnerova and Annika Dyczkowski goals. The Bantams defeated the Polar Bears 3-0, closing out the series 2-0 on the weekend.
Trinity Women's Hockey will return to Koeppel Center to finish out their last regular season home match on the ice against Wesleyan University on Feb.16th at 7:30PM.
