PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – #1 Women's Squash collected a 8-1 victory over Cornell University in the quarterfinals of the Collegiate Squash Association (CSA) National Collegiate Team Championships. The Bantams will advance to the semifinals where they will compete against Yale University on Saturday, March 2nd. 

The Bantams led Cornell, 3-0 after the first wave of matches with wins from junior Jana Safy (3-0), Kara Lincou (3-1) and Janna Ashmawy (3-1). Success on the hardwood continued for Trinity as they went 1-2-3 in the second wave with a 3-0 win from Fabiola Cabello, and a pair of 3-1 wins from Nouran Youssef and Noa Romero. 

To finish the day the Bantams snagged two more 3-1 victories from senior Madeleine Hylland and Lulu Palacios Benditez, marking an 8-0 lead over Cornell. Malak Ashraf Kamal was the only Bantam to be bested on the hardwood, falling in three to Wen Li Lai.

The Bantams advance to the semifinals tomorrow, Saturday, March 2nd where they will match up against Yale University at 3PM in the Howe Cup at the Arlen Specter Squash Center in Philadelphia, Pa.
