LEESBURG, Fla. - Bantams Softball registered a 2-0 sweep on the day as they defeated Mitchell College 4-2 to start the day followed by a 13-1 win over Skidmore College to finish off the day. Bantams now hold a record of 5-3, while Mitchell lowers to 1-6, and Skidmore now holds a 2-4 record.

Senior Erin Girard was the winning pitcher where she tossed for the first 4 innings allowing seven hits, two runs, 1 walk and two strikeouts. To finish out the game senior Tiffany Stowers stepped in the circle throwing for the final three innings letting up only one hit, earning her the save.Â
Batting for the Bantams, senior Kennedy Rogers cracked a double to left field for an RBI sending in Taylor Mikolajczak for the first run of the game. Stowers knocked a triple to center field for two RBI's with Isabella Calagna and Rogers both making it home. The Bantams held a 3-0 lead until the Mariners put up one run in the third, making it a 3-1 game.Â
In the Bottom of the fifth Mitchell had closed the gap making it a one run game, 3-2. Senior Gianna Tito reached first on an error by the third baseman advancing her to second. First year Calagna singled out to center field, which would land her at second base as Tito raced to home scoring Trinity's fourth and final run of the game.

Kennedy Rogers led the Bantams on offense as she went 2-for-2 with two RBI's and three runs scored, adding five of Trinity's 13 runs. First year Heather Roth pitched the five inning game registering four strikeouts allowing 5 hits and 1 run. Â
The Bantams found success in the 2nd and 5th inning posting 6 runs in each, while adding a solo run in the fourth.
Skidmore College sent in their only run of the game in the bottom of third with a single to right center.
Trinity Softball closed the game 13-1 over Skidmore College.
The Bantams are back in action on Friday, March 15th against Carroll University at 9AM.
