Box Score NEW LONDON, CONN. - Trinity College Baseball registered three runs against Coast Guard, falling to a final score of 4-3 in the non-conference meeting Wednesday afternoon. Bantams lower 3-7 while CGA rose 7-3 in their season. Trinity College will make the trip back to Coast Guard Academy on Friday, March 22nd for a 3:30PM battle.
Against Coast Guard the Bantams registered four hits and three runs, with a double and a sacrifice fly from second baseman
Aidan Stern. Trinity collected 24 putouts, as the Bears attained 27 in the non-conference meeting. Coast Guard scored 4 runs with a tally of 10 team hits with Blake George batting 1.000 going 3-for-3 from the plate.

Alex Chang tossed for 6 innings recording 10 strikeouts, 3 fly-outs, 5 ground-outs and allowed 8 hits with 3 runs scoring.
Joseph Capano would take over for Trinity in the final two innings where he saw 10 batters throwing 2 strikeouts, allowing 2 hits and 1 run.
Trinity's Stern scored in the first inning off of a passed ball, making it a 1-0 game heading into the bottom of the first where the Bears would knock three hits and 2 runs to take the lead, 2-1. Bantams second run would be scored in the top of the fourth after a sacrifice bunt from
Tanner Fairchild to advance Sean meth to second and send
Dylan Schnitzer home, making it a 2-2 game. Meth advanced to third off of a passed ball, placing the Bantams in a scoring position that would be denied with a final out pitched by Coast Guards Raymond Priddy.
Sterns sacrifice fly out to center field sent home the third and final run for the Bantams, to close the deficit to a one run game. Trinity was hopeful for a 9th inning rally but was held to a 1-2-3 inning falling to a final score of 4-3.
