PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – #1 Women's Squash secured their second 8-1 victory in the Howe Cup Tournament as they downed Yale University on Saturday afternoon in the semifinals at the Collegiate Squash Association (CSA) National Collegiate Team Championships. Bantams will battle against #3 Princeton University in the final match on Sunday, March 3rd at 2:30PM.
In the first wave of matches junior Janna El Ashmawy (3-0), sophomore Hannah Chukwu (3-1), and senior Nouran Youssef (3-2) lifted the Bantams to a 3-0 lead over Yale. Trinity went on to lock a spot in the Howe Cup Final with a 6-0 lead as Malak Moustafa and Madeleine Hylland clinched 3-2 victories, along with a 3-0 win from Fabiola Cabello in the second wave of matches.
To finish the day the Bantams added two more wins from junior Jana Safy (3-0) and junior Lulu Palacios Benitez (3-1) marking an 8-1 final in the semifinal clash against Yale University.
