Lampert served as the distributor on the next two Bantams goals, finding Lally for a goal at the 9:28 mark of the third period, followed by a connection with Miller less than a minute later to stake the Bantams to a 9-3 advantage. Sudano netted a pair of free-position goals for Bowdoin to close out the third period with the Polar Bears trailing 9-5 entering the final period.
Sudano potted another goal in the opening minute of the fourth to close the gap to 9-6 with 14:46 to play. Denious broke up the Polar Bears run with a goal at the 12:39 mark, but Bowdoin answered with a goal from Fabbro to make it a 10-7 game.
