HARTFORD, Conn. -  The Bantams Softball team welcomed the Westfield State Owls for an intense midweek double-header at the Trinity College Softball Field. Erin Girard delivered a stellar performance, tossing a three-hit shutout to seal the victory in game one within six innings. However, despite a thrilling performance, the Bantams narrowly missed out on victory in game two, suffering a 3-5 defeat.
Bantams rise to a 19-12 season, while the Owls own a 21-10 record.
