MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - In a thrilling matchup in Middletown, Connecticut, the underdog Trinity College Bantams aimed to upset the heavily favored Cardinals for the second time in April. Despite their determined efforts, a late-game surge spearheaded by Wesleyan senior midfielder CK Giancola propelled the Cardinals to a final score 18-10 victory, securing their spot in the second round of the NESCAC tournament.
Trinity's first-half offensive efforts were led by a mix of underclassmen, with freshman Bo Page contributing two goals, leading the team with twenty-six goals for the season.
