PRINCETON, N.J. – The second-ranked Trinity College Women's Squash team suffered a 5-4 setback at the hands of fourth-ranked Princeton University at the racquet center in Princeton's Meadows Neighborhood Sunday.
 
Princeton grabbed an early 2-0 lead as Zeina Zein took down senior Malak Moustafa in three sets at the first position, and Caroline Eielson defeated junior Kara Lincou, 3-0, at the number 5 spot. Senior Janna El Ashmawy battled through five sets to capture a 3-2 win at seventh, making it a 2-1 game.
 
The sides traded victories as senior Lulu Benitez Palacios fell to Katherine Sapinski at sixth and senior Noa Romero snatched a 3-2 win over Molly Chadwick at fifth. Junior Fabiola Cabello was downed by Liyen Teoh at eighth, but junior Hannah Chukwu tallied a 3-0 sweep of Charlotte Bell to set the score at 4-3.
 
The Tigers notched the clinching win in the ninth position as Hermione Cao defeated sophomore Varvara Esina, 3-0. Senior Jana Safy snagged a 3-1 victory over Emma Trauber at the #2 spot to make it a 5-4 final.
 
The Bantams will return to action when they travel to top-ranked Harvard University for a match Friday, January 17 at 5:00 p.m.
