CLINTON, N.Y. – The 12
th-ranked Trinity College Men's Basketball overcame a first half deficit to collect a 72-60 victory over host Hamilton College in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) tilt at Scott Field House Saturday afternoon. The Bantams rise to 15-2 on the season and 3-1 in conference play, while the Continentals slide to 1-2 in the NESCAC and 12-4 overall.

nd player in program history to reach the 1,000-point plateau

Trinity had four scorers in double figures, led by sophomore
Jared Berry with a team-high 15 points, shooting 6-of-11 from the field, with four rebounds off the bench. Junior
Jarrel Okorougo tallied 14 points, a team-high five rebounds and two blocks, while Vetter added 13 points with three rebounds and two assists. Junior
Drew Lazarre added 11 points, four rebounds, two assists and first-year
David Ayles had four points with a career-high four blocks.

Hank Morgan powered the Continentals offense with a game-high 36 points, shooting 13-of-21 from the floor, with five rebounds and two assists. Matthew Rideout chipped in 11 points, while Jalen Reese added seven points, two rebounds and two blocks.

Trinity held the advantage on the glass, 31-29, in the paint, 40-36, and off the bench, 21-20. The Bantams shot 25-of-58 (43.1%) from the floor, 3-of-12 (25%) from three-point range and 19-of-22 (86.4%) from the foul line. Hamilton connected on 24-of-51 (47.1%) form the field, 3-of-12 (25%) from three-point, and 9-of-10 (90%) from the free throw line.

The Bantams return to the hardwood for a NESCAC clash with fifth-ranked Wesleyan University (18-0) Saturday at Oosting Gymnasium. Tip-off is slated for 3:00 p.m.
