Men's Soccer Dealt 3-0 Defeat at Bowdoin

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Trinity College Men's Soccer team fell to host Bowdoin College, 3-0, in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) clash at Pickard Multipurpose Field Saturday afternoon. The Bantams move to 3-5-2 overall and 0-5-2 in conference play, while the Polar Bears rise to 7-2-2 on the season and 3-2-2 in the NESCAC.
 
What Happened:
  • In the 16th minute of action, Trinity keeper Nate Dyott denied an attempt from Tyler Huck, but the rebound fell to the foot of Adam Prince, who found the back of the net to give Bowdoin the 1-0 lead.
  • The Polar Bears made it a 2-0 lead behind a penalty kick goal from Huck with 22:32 remaining in the first half.
  • Bowdoin delivered their final tally in the 78th minute as Huck converted off a feed from Max Cook to send the Polar Bears to the 3-0 win.
 
Inside the Numbers:
  • The Polar Bears controlled the shot column, 9-2, with five shots on goal.
  • Bowdoin earned six corner kicks to one for Trinity, while both teams were whistled for 15 fouls during the contest.
  • Dyott made a game-high two saves for Trinity, while Bowdoin goalie Alex Ainsworth had one save.
