HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Volleyball team fell to 24
th-ranked Wesleyan University, 3-0, in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) battle at Oosting Gymnasium Friday night. With the result, the Bantams move to 9-4 overall and 1-2 in NESCAC play.

What Happened:
- Despite Wesleyan's strong attack and steady defense, the Bantams battled throughout the match, keeping rallies alive and refusing to back down.
- Trinity kept the first set close before Wesleyan pulled away late, taking it 25–19. The second set was close in the beginning then the Cardinals surged ahead and never looked back in a 25–11 decision. The Bantams regrouped in the third, showing resilience with extended rallies and scrappy defensive play, but Wesleyan held their ground to close out the match 25–17.
- Bantam Leaders Ellie Gordon paced the Bantam offense with 8 kills, finding openings against a tough Wesleyan block. Catalina Hendricks directed the offense and led the team with 12 assists, while Sarah Jeremias anchored the defense, finishing with a team-high 11 digs.
- Team Totals Kills: 28 Assists: 25 Blocks: 3 Digs: 57 These numbers reflected Trinity's grit on defense and their ability to extend plays even against a top-25 opponent.
