Football Claims 11 All-Conference Selections

HADLEY, Mass. – The Trinity College Football team earned 11 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Conference selections, announced by the league Wednesday afternoon. Five Bantams received First Team selections, and six Bantams were tabbed as Second Team honorees.
 
Seniors Nolan O'Brien (Sudbury, Mass.), Brandon Baker (Quincy, Mass.), Christopher DeLeon-Kollmer (Queens, N.Y.), and junior Lincoln Moore were First Team selections, while seniors Tyler DiNapoli (West Haven, Conn.), Matt Hickey (Melrose, Mass.), Charlie Cooper (Sarasota, Fla.), Shane Mosia (Plainedge, N.Y.), and juniors Ethan Krauss (Somers, N.Y.) and Luke Ventura (Port Washington, N.Y.) were Second Team selections.
 
For back-to-back seasons, O'Brien takes home First Team Wide Receiver and First Team Returner accolades after leading the Bantams in receptions (44), receiving yards (570) and receiving touchdowns (5), while adding 61 rushing yards on 10 carries with three touchdowns. O'Brien ranked fourth in the NESCAC in receptions and receptions per game (4.9), fifth in receiving touchdowns, and sixth in receiving yards and yards per game (63.3). As a return specialist, O'Brien racked up 236 yards on 15 returns, including a career-low 79-yard punt return touchdown against Bates.
 
Baker and DeLeon-Kollmer helped anchor the Bantams offensive line which produced the second-ranked rushing attack in the league, averaging 154.2 yards per game and a league-high 18 touchdowns. The Bantams offensive line allowed 13 sacks on the season, including only six sacks allowed over the final eight games of the season.
 
Moore collects his first All-Conference selection after tallying a career-high 58 tackles, including a team-high 5.5 tackles for loss, with a sack, a team-high six QB hurries, and three pass breakups.
 
DiNapoli registers his third All-Conference selection, adding a Second Team honor with a pair of First Team selections, along with 2022 Rookie of the Year honors. DiNapoli paced the Bantams ground attack with 392 yards on 101 carries with four touchdowns, while adding 22 receptions for 288 yards and a touchdown.
 
The Bantams defense picked up five Second Team selections with Hickey, Ventura, Krauss, Cooper, and Mosia. Mosia recorded a career-high 54 tackles, including a team-high 32 solo tackles, with a career-high five pass breakups and punt block that led to a touchdown en route to his first All-Conference designation. Krauss earned his first All-Conference selection after posting a career-high 48 tackles with 5.0 TFLs, two sacks, a PBU, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Ventura garnered his first All-Conference honor after leading the Bantams with five sacks, fourth-most in the NESCAC, along with 20 tackles, a team-high 8.5 TFLs, and four QB hurries. Hickey excelled with a move to the defensive line, recording 3.5 sacks with 17 tackles, 5.0 TFLs, and two QB hurries. Cooper receives his second All-Conference selection after notching 24 tackles, three PBUs, an interception, a QB hurry and a fumble recovery.
