MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Trinity College Football seniors
Brandon Baker (Quincy, Mass.),
Christopher DeLeon-Kollmer (Queens, N.Y.) and
Nolan O'Brien (Sudbury, Mass.) were tabbed as D3football.com Region 1 All-Region selections, announced by the association Wednesday. Baker received First Team honors, DeLeon-Kollmer was a Second Team selection, and O'Brien grabbed Third Team honors at wide receiver and return specialist.
Baker takes home his first All-Region selection and is the 16
th player in program history to earn First Team status, while DeLeon-Kollmer earns his first All-Region designation. DeLeon-Kollmer registered a 96% average grade, including a 99% grade against Bowdoin, with zero sacks allowed while playing both tackle and guard. Baker posted a 94% average grade, including a season-high 97% versus Williams, with three penalties while playing at guard and center. The Bantams offensive line which produced the second-ranked rushing attack in the league, averaging 154.2 yards per game and a league-high 18 touchdowns, while allowing 13 sacks on the season, including only six sacks allowed over the final eight games of the season. Baker and DeLeon-Kollmer were both New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) First Team selections.
O'Brien becomes the sixth player in program history to earn All-Region status in multiple seasons, joining Mike Robinson (2006-07),
Chris Simmons (2016-17), Austin Baiardi (2018-19), Spencer Fetter (2021, 2023), and
Matthew Jumes (2023-24). O'Brien is the first player in program history to earn All-Region at two positions in a season, and earn All-Region status as a return specialist. O'Brien led the Bantams in receptions (44), receiving yards (570) and receiving touchdowns (5), while adding 61 rushing yards on 10 carries with three touchdowns. O'Brien ranked fourth in the NESCAC in receptions and receptions per game (4.9), fifth in receiving touchdowns, and sixth in receiving yards and yards per game (63.3). As a return specialist, O'Brien racked up 236 yards on 15 returns, including a career-low 79-yard punt return touchdown against Bates. O'Brien claimed NESCAC First Team honors at both positions, and New England Football Writers All-New England punt return specialist.
