HADLEY, Mass. – Trinity College Men's Basketball senior Jarrel Okorougo (Stoneham, Mass.) was selected as the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week, announced by the league office Monday. Okorougo is the first Bantam to earn Player of the Week honors this season, and the first since Drew Lazarre on March 3, 2025.

Okrougo takes home his first Player of the Week award after achieving a pair of career milestones in a 2-0 week for the top-ranked Bantams, averaging 23.0 points, 3.0 steals, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists while shooting 72.4 percent (21-of-24) from the floor. With 19 points in a victory over Saint Joseph (CT), Okorougo became the 33rd player in program history to reach the 1,000 career point milestone, while adding a season-high five steals, three assists, and two rebounds. The senior followed with a career-high 27 points in just 23 minutes of action, connecting on a career-best 12-of-15 from the field, with two rebounds and a steal in a decisive 77-44 victory over Babson.

Okorougo and the Bantams will be back on the floor when they host the University of Hartford in non-conference action at Ray Oosting Gymnasium on Tuesday, December 9 at 7:00 p.m.
