HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Women's Basketball team concluded their 2024-25 regular season with a 57-37 loss to visiting third-ranked Bowdoin College in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) clash at Oosting Gymnasium Saturday afternoon. The Bantams move to 17-7 overall and finish 6-4 in NESCAC play, while the Polar Bears remain perfect at 24-0 and 10-0.

Prior to the game, the Trinity Women's Basketball program honored their two departing seniors,
Indi DelRocco and
Hannah Marzo.

Sophomore Madison Forman flirted with a double-double with a team-high eight points and a game-high 10 rebounds for the Bantams. Junior
Melissa Whitmore had five points with six rebounds, while Marzo and sophomore
Lucy Palmer added five points each.

Abbie Quinn led the Polar Bears with a game-high 19 points, shooting 9-of-16 from the field, with seven rebounds. Grace Kinum tallied 15 points with a team-high eight rebounds off the bench, while senior Sydney Jones dished out a game-high five assists with eight points and four rebounds.

The Polar Bears edged the Bantams on the glass, 43-42, in the paint, 42-20, and off the bench, 22-15. Trinity connected on 14-of-56 (25%), 3-of-18 (16.7%) from three-point range and 6-of-10 (60%) from the foul line. Bowdoin shot 24-of-61 (39.3%) from the field, 2-of-11 (18.2%) from three-point, and 7-of-13 (53.8%) from the charity stripe.

The Bantams will finish the regular season as either the third-seed or fourth-seed (depending on the result of Tufts vs. Bates) and will host a NESCAC Women's Basketball Championship Quarterfinal game on Saturday, February 22
