NESCAC Men's Ice Hockey Championship Quarterfinal Preview: #7 Middlebury

HARTFORD, Conn. – The second-seeded Trinity College Men's Ice Hockey team will host seventh-seeded Middlebury College in the quarterfinals of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Ice Hockey Championship at the Koeppel Community Sports Center Saturday afternoon. Puck drops at 4:00 p.m.
 
Bantam Bytes
  • Trinity wrapped the regular season with a 16-6-2 record, including a 12-4-2 mark in the NESCAC to earn the two-seed in the Championship Tournament.
  • The Bantams checked in at 13th in the latest USCHO.com Division III Men's Hockey Poll and 12th in the NCAA Percentage Index (NPI).
  • Trinity is hosting their 12th NESCAC Quarterfinal game in a row.

Scouting Middlebury

  • Middlebury is making back-to-back trips to the NESCAC Championship after delivering an upset as the #7 seed in the Quarterfinals last season.
