Bantams Topped in Conference Play by Ephs

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College women's lacrosse team faced off against Williams College in a NESCAC matchup on Friday evening at Robin L. Sheppard Field, falling 11-5 to the Ephs. With the loss, the Bantams drop to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in conference play, while Williams improves to 2-3 overall and 1-2 in the NESCAC.

Trinity will return to action on Sunday, March 23, hosting Babson College at 1 p.m. for the Bantams' Team IMPACT Game at Robin L. Sheppard Field.

Statistically, Williams held a slight advantage, edging Trinity 13-11 in shots, 9-7 in saves, 25-19 in ground balls, and 12-8 in draw controls.

Olivia Aguirre started in goal for the Bantams, recording three saves while allowing seven goals in the first half. Ali MacDougal took over in the second half, finishing with four saves and four goals allowed.

Offensively, Trinity spread out its scoring. Kelsey Restivo tallied her 15th goal of the season, Ivy Armentrout added her fifth, and Alex Lesko notched her 11th, all in the first quarter. Restivo struck again in the second, while Caroline Lally capped the scoring with a player-up goal—her first of the season.
