Henry Vetter, Jarrel Okorougo Earn All-American Status

HARTFORD, Conn. – Trinity College Men's Basketball juniors Henry Vetter (Kenilworth, Ill.) and Jarrel Okorougo (Stoneham, Mass.) were recognized as All-Americans, with Vetter taking home National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Third Team honors and Okorougo claiming D3hoops.com Fifth Team honors.
 
Vetter becomes the sixth player in program history to earn NABC All-American honors, joining Ken Abere (1985), Keith Wolff (1996), Colin Tabb (2002), Tyler Rhoten (2004-06), and Shay Ajayi (2015). Okorougo becomes the second player to be tabbed as D3hoops.com All-American, joining Ed Ogundeko (2017).
 
Vetter and Okorougo helped lead the Bantams to the program's first NCAA Division III National Championship in 2025, matching a program-high for wins with a 30-3 mark. Trinity made back-to-back National Championship Semifinals defeating Wesleyan University (73-69), and then New York University (64-60) in the Title Game on March 22. The Bantams claimed their second straight New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Basketball Championship, defeating the Cardinals, 75-67, at Silloway Gymnasium.
 
Vetter led the Bantams with a team-high 15.9 points per game, shooting a career-high 43.0% (164-381) from the floor, along with a career-highs in three-point field goals made (72), free throws made (124) and free throws attempted (140). Vetter pulled down 139 rebounds with 114 assists, 31 steals and 14 blocks, while connecting on 36.5% from three-point range and 88.6% from the foul line. Vetter netted a career-high 30 points in a double-overtime battle at Babson and dished out a career-high 11 assists in an 88-53 win over Worcester State. With 13 points in a 72-60 win over Hamilton, Vetter became the 32nd player in program history to reach the 1,000-point plateau in a career. Vetter was selected as the Division III National Championship Tournament Most Outstanding Player, D3hoops.com First Team All-Region and NESCAC First Team All-Conference.
 
Okorougo posted a career-best 12.6 points per game, shooting 50% (175-350) from the field, with a career-high 6.9 rebounds per game. Okorougo tallied career highs in minutes (866), points (415), rebounds (229), field goals made, field goals attempted, free throws made (61), and free throw percentage (72.6), blocks (29), and double-doubles (4). With 13 rebounds against Keene State, Okorougo became the 25th player to reach the 500-rebound plateau. Okorougo earned Division III National Championship All-Tournament Team, and was selected D3hoops.com All-Region First Team, NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year and NESCAC First Team All-Conference.
