CANTON, N.Y. – The Trinity College Baseball team ripped off a trio of victories from host Saint Lawrence University in a non-conference series at Tom Fay Field Friday and Saturday. The Bantams improve to 11-13 overall, while the Saints own a 7-15 record.

Game 1: Trinity 5, St. Lawrence 1
Trailing 1-0 in the third inning, Trinity evened the score as
Dylan Schnitzer laced an RBI single through the left side of the infield to make it a 1-1 game. The Bantams tacked on the go-ahead run in the fourth behind an RBI sac fly from
Brett Stone, and then Schnitzer delivered an RBI double in the fifth to put Trinity ahead 3-1. The Bantams dealt the decisive blow in the seventh inning as
Timothy Domizio launched a two-run home run to send Trinity to the 5-1 win.

Schnitzer reached base five times, going 3-for-3 with two RBIs and two walks, while Domizio and
Andrew Park added two hits apiece.
Joseph Capano took the win on the mound, tossing seven innings of one-run ball with five strikeouts, and
Andrew Gabriel allowed one hit with a punchout in two scoreless innings of relief.

Game 2: Trinity 9, St. Lawrence 2
The Bantams jumped on the scoreboard early in the opening game of a doubleheader with the Saints as Park belted a two-run home run in the top of the first to stake Trinity to a 2-0 lead. After the Bantams plated another run in the second, the Saint trimmed the deficit to 3-1 on an RBI sac fly from Siano.

The Trinity bats remained hot as
William Sawyer blasted a two-run home run in the fourth, followed by an RBI sac fly from Park in the fifth to extend the lead to 6-1. Leading 6-2 in the seventh, the Bantams put the game away as
Aidan Stern launched a solo home run, and then Domizio scored on an error and Park stole home to seal the 9-2 win.

Park led the way at the dish, going 2-for-3 with three RBIs, two runs scored and a stolen base. Schnitzer and Stern tallied two hits and a run scored apiece, while Domizio went 1-for-2 with three runs scored.
Brendan Grady (3-0) claimed the win, allowing two runs on three hits with a pair of strikeouts.

Game 3: Trinity 3, St. Lawrence 1
In the nightcap, the Bantams opened the scoring with a two-run home run from Sawyer in the top of the second to hand Trinity a 2-0 lead. Domizio added an insurance run in the third with an RBI sac fly to centerfield, plating
Adam Niman to build a 3-0 advantage for the Bantams. The Saints lone run of the game came in the seventh as Siano scored on a Trinity error.

Sawyer went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored, while Schnitzer and Niman each added a hit and a run scored in the win.
Drew McGowan (2-1) surrendered one unearned run on two hits with eight strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work, while
Thomas Fahey earned his second save of the season.

The Bantams will look to remain in the win column when they host Nichols College in a non-conference game at Murren Family Field at DiBenedetto Stadium on Tuesday, April 15. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
