Opdahl on 2025 USILA Scholar All-American Team

| By:

HARTFORD, Conn. – Senior goalkeeper Jordan Opdahl has been named a 2025 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III All-American, becoming the first Bantam to earn the honor since Mickey Zaverucha (Duxbury, Mass.) in 2015, as announced by the USILA on Tuesday morning.

This prestigious recognition caps off an exceptional season for Opdahl, who also earned a spot on the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Academic Team. Earlier this spring, he became the first player in Trinity men's lacrosse history to be named a USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American. Additionally, Opdahl joins an elite group as just the sixth Bantam to earn multiple NEILA Division III All-New England honors, alongside program greats Henry Hopkins (1963-65), Alexander Levi (1965-67), Kingdon Hurlock (1965-66), Nick Shaheen (2011-12), and Jack Cahill (2021-22).

A two-time All-NESCAC selection, Opdahl is also only the second goalkeeper in program history to receive multiple All-Conference honors, following Peter Johnson (2011-12). He posted career-best marks this season in save percentage (.594), goals-against average (10.83), and total saves (231). Opdahl led the NESCAC in both total saves and saves per game (15.4), while ranking second in save percentage and eighth in goals-against average.
