2025 Women's Soccer Season Preview

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Women's Soccer team will look for continued growth in the 2025 season, under the guidance of six-year head coach Rachael Schroeder. The Bantams will open their 2025 campaign against Anna Maria College on Wednesday, September 3 at 7:00 p.m.
 
Bantam Bytes
  • Last season, Trinity logged a 3-9-3 record with a 1-6-3 mark in New England Small College Athletic (NESCAC) play.
  • Senior Elena Lindonen led the Bantams in scoring last season with a team-high nine points on a team-high four goals, including two game-winning goals, and an assist. Lindonen tallied a team-high 23 shots.
  • Lindonen earned back-to-back NESCAC All-Conference honors with a Second Team selection.
  • Senior Alyssa Keane netted a career-high four goals for a career-high eight points, while classmate Elsa Deutsch dished out a team-high three assists.
  • Junior Emma Almoney registered four points with a goal and two assists, while matching the team-high for shots with 23.
  • Senior Jill Fisher and sophomores Sara Rieger and Ava Correnti each added goals on the season, while sophomore Iva Carton and first-years Savannah Nevins and Makena Hammond will bring depth.
  • In the midfield, sophomores Taylor Troskey and Kyra Charette return after appearing in 14 and 12 games, respectively, along with Adeline Shannon and first-years Addie Covey, Maggie Hyder, Sophia Simmons and Emma Rose
  • The Bantams defensive line will feature senior Sarah Kenney, sophomore Lauren Grattan, and the return of junior Shea O'Neill, along with sophomores Lauren Hoh, Mallory Kerr, Ashley McSweeney and first-years Alexis Donovan and Meghan O'Neil.
  • Sophomore Lily Bracken appeared in 14 games between the pipes for Trinity, generating a 2.00 goals against average with 60 saves and a 70.6 save percentage.
  • Junior Zoe Tamborello, who posted a 2.39 goals against average with 19 saves and a 76.0 save percentage in five appearances, and first-year Ali Shure will challenge Bracken for minutes.
