HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College women's lacrosse team has been ranked No. 20 in the 2026 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Preseason Poll, released on January 20. The Bantams will open their 2026 campaign on Saturday, February 28, traveling to Williams College for a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) matchup.
Looking back to last season:
- Finished season 9-9 overall with a 4-6 mark in NESCAC play
- Earned an at large selection to NCAA tournament for third consecutive season
- Defeated Meredith College 19-5 in first round before falling 11-13 to Gettysburg in second round
- Finished with #1 strength of schedule according to Lacrosse Reference.
2026 Roster:
The Bantams will be led by three senior captains: Sam Hark,
Kaeley Zito, and
Grace Denious. This year's roster is composed of 9 freshmen, 9 sophomores, 7 juniors, and 9 seniors. Head Coach
Katy Szymanski enters her 12th season with the program (124-61). She is joined by assistants Avery Giorgio (5th year) and Ashley Moynahan (1st year).

2026 Season Outlook:
The Bantams return over 80% of their point production from just a year ago including leading point scorer
Kelsey Restivo. The defense will be anchored by
USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Second Team All-American Sam Hark. Trinity will look to advance to a 4th consecutive NCAA tournament while aiming to break the .500 mark for the first time since 2023.
