PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Trinity College Baseball team captured a 7-3 victory over Edgewood University at Blue Wahoos Stadium Saturday afternoon. The Bantams rise to 5-1 on the season, while the Eagles move to 5-4 overall.
 
What Happened:

• After two scoreless innings, Edgewood grabbed a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the third on sacrifice flies from Carter Kelley and Kyle Prindle.
• In the top of the fourth, Aidan Stevenson delivered a one-out double down the left field line, and then Andrew Park belted a two-run home run to right field, knotting the game at 2-2.
• The Bantams took the lead as Tyler Bernstein plated Aidan Stern with an RBI single and came around to score on an RBI single from Stevenson. Timmy Domizio added an RBI sac fly to put Trinity ahead 5-2 in the fifth.
• The Bantams tacked on insurance runs in the ninth with a pair of RBI sac flies from Park and Brett Stone en route to the 7-3 victory.

 
Inside the Boxscore:

• Park led the way at the dish, going 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a run scored, while Stevenson went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI.
• Stern tallied two hits with two stolen bases, while Bernstein, Domizio, Dylan Schnitzer and Cole Mascolo each added knocks.
• Trinity starter Joe Capano allowed two runs on three hits with six strikeouts, while Matthew Limongelli registered his first career victory in relief, fanning four batter in 1.2 innings of work.
