HARTFORD, Conn. — Trinity College had 15 winter student-athletes named to the 2025–26 Academic All-District® Teams across men's and women's swimming and diving, as well as men's and women's basketball.
The Bantams' honorees across men's swimming and diving, women's swimming and diving, men's basketball, and women's basketball are listed below.
To be eligible in men's and women's basketball, student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of their institution's games or start in at least 66 percent of games. For swimming and diving, student-athletes must compete in 75 percent of competitions, finish in the top eight at a conference meet, or participate in a national championship.
Men's swimming was represented by senior Spencer Kwan and sophomores Ben Lyons, Weston Lowe, and Ilija Tosic.
Women's swimming and diving had four members named to the CSC Academic All-District Team: senior Niamh Kastner; juniors Hannah Flis and Charlotte Murphree; and sophomore Maeve Delehanty.
Trinity men's basketball had three members named to the Academic All-District Team: senior Henry Vetter, junior David Ayles, and sophomore Samuel Norris. Norris also earned the Elite 90 Award at the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Final Four in Fort Wayne, Indiana, which is awarded to the student-athlete with the highest GPA at each NCAA championship site.
Bantams women's basketball had four student-athletes earn CSC honors: seniors Melissa Whitmore, Samantha Slofkiss, and Lucy Dorion, along with junior Marlo Simms.
To be eligible for Academic All-District® honors, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale), be significant contributors to their teams, and meet competition requirements. Each institution is limited to four nominations per sport.
