HARTFORD, Conn–– The 19th ranked Trinity College Men's Lacrosse Team suffered a loss to #9 Wesleyan University on Wednesday night. Despite a tie game at the break, Trinity was unable to generate any momentum in the second half. The Bantams fall to 5-7 (1-6 NESCAC) while Wesleyan moves 9-2 (7-2 NESCAC). 

Game Summary 

• After falling behind 1-0, Bo Page hit Jake Connors up top for an early answer.  

• Wesleyan took another lead, but a Billy Gerne takeaway ignited the break as Finn O'Callaghan hit Conley Bohan in front to knot it at two.  

• The Cardinals jumped ahead again 3-2 but Will Lavallee responded by taking the following faceoff downfield and hitting Page in rhythm for a laser.  

• Late in the second quarter Trinity found themselves down 5-3 but Miles Harvey skied in to putback his own rebound then stayed hot on the following possession and ripped a shot off the feed from Gerne to tie the game at 5-5 going into the half. 

• Turnovers limited the Bantam offense in the third quarter as Wesleyan scored three unanswered heading to the fourth. 

• Miles Harvey cut the deficit to 8-6 with ten minutes remaining off a pass from Andrew Finn and shortly after Trinity had a perfect opportunity with two men up but turned the ball over unforced.  

• Wesleyan pushed the final to 10-6 with two empty net goals to seal the road win.
