HARTFORD, Conn. – Announced on Friday (May 22) by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association, the Trinity College women's lacrosse team landed two All-Americans following the 2026 season. Senior captains Samantha Hark and Grace Denious garnered IWLCA AA status, with Hark becoming the 32nd player in program history to earn First Team All-American honors, while Denious became the 24th to earn Second Team AA honors.
This year, the star defender Hark recorded multiple postseason accolades, including New England Small College Athletic Conference First Team All-Conference, Academic All-Conference, and IWLCA Berkshire Region First Team honors. Along with etching her name into the record book as an All-American, Hark became the 10th player in program history to receive three consecutive First Team honors for the IWLCA All-Region team and the 16th to garner three consecutive all-region recognitions.
The senior defender recorded career highs with 37 ground balls and 61 caused turnovers, tying for the second-most caused turnovers in a single season in program history alongside Maria Lingnau '02. She also ranked second in the conference, averaging 3.0 caused turnovers per game. The senior captain started all 20 games this season, bringing her career total to 75 starts in 75 appearances. Hark reached two major career milestones, totaling 111 ground balls and 138 caused turnovers. Her caused turnover mark ranks fifth all-time in program history, surpassing Rebecca Sullivan '04 (123) and trailing Maria Lingnau '03 (144).
Denious recorded her first All-Region honor with a Berkshire Region Second Team selection, along with her inaugural NESCAC All-Conference selection, earning First Team honors.
The standout on offense ended the season posting career highs across the board with 33 goals, 25 assists, 28 ground balls, 16 caused turnovers, and 33 draw controls. The senior started all 20 games this season and made 50 starts in 71 career appearances.
In her senior season, Denious finished ranked eighth in the NESCAC in assists per game, averaging 1.28 per contest, while Hark wrapped up the season ranked second in the conference in caused turnovers per game at 3.06.
The Trinity College Women's Lacrosse team closed its 2026 season by falling in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament to Wesleyan University in a tight 7-5 final against the Cardinals.
