Men's Soccer Delivers Clean Sheet Against Hamilton

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Men's Soccer team collected their first New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) victory of the season, posting a 2-0 win over visiting Hamilton College at Trinity College Soccer Field Saturday afternoon. The Bantams rise to 3-2 overall, while the Continentals drop to 1-2-2 on the season.

What Happened:
  • In the eighth minute of action, Sebastian Martinez-Moule knocked down a free ball and played a touch pass to Trevor Saruwaka, who fired a pill from 30-plus yards out past the reach of Hamilton keeper Peter Montesano Scheibe, staking the Bantams to a 1-0 advantage.
  • With 14:35 remaining in the first half, Trinity potted an insurance tally as Saruwaka curled a pass to Owen Myers near the corner flag, and Myers served a cross that Charles Desautels extended his left foot to knock a shot by Scheibe, giving the Bantams a 2-0 lead.
