FRANKLIN, Mass. – The Trinity College women's volleyball team remained unbeaten to open the 2026 season, earning a convincing 3-0 sweep over Dean College Wednesday evening at Pieri Gymnasium. The Bantams improve to 3-0 on the season after winning by set scores of 25-10, 25-16, and 25-17.
How it Happened:
- Trinity came out strong in the opening set, hitting .500 with 11 kills and just one attack error to cruise to a 25-10 victory. The Bantams carried that momentum into the second set, posting a .318 hitting percentage and pulling away for a 25-16 win.
- The Bulldogs kept the third set competitive early, but Trinity closed out the match with a 25-17 victory to complete the sweep.
- Senior Amy Boller led the Bantams offensively with six kills, while Chloe Gentile added five kills on eight attacks without an error for a .625 hitting percentage. Catalina Hendricks finished with three kills and led Trinity with five service aces.
- Maya Pace directed the offense with seven assists, while Keira Sky Pierce added five assists. Hendricks and Pace each contributed two blocks, while Maya Hall paced the defense with six digs. Hall also added three service aces.
- Trinity finished the match with advantages in kills (27-14), service aces (14-3), blocks (6-4), assists (24-13), and digs (30-24). The Bantams held Dean to a -.053 hitting percentage while hitting .232 as a team.
