Club boxing

Trinity College Boxing Club  is an officially registered National Collegiate Boxing Association (NCBA) program that is insured and sanctioned by USA Boxing Inc. and is able to compete in all USA Boxing and NCBA events. Members of the Boxing Club can expect to learn how to box, train, spar, and compete. Contact is optional and no prior experience is necessary. Practice is held at Charter Oak Boxing Academy (COBA), a non-profit organization located 5 minutes away from Trinity's campus.
 Practice: Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays @ 6:15 PM - 8:00 PM

The Trinity College/COBA Community Partnership  is dedicated to keeping Hartford's/COBA youth in school, academically motivated, pro-socially involved in their school community, working towards the goal of graduating, and moving onto some form of higher education. Once a Trinity College student becomes a member of the Boxing Club, he/she will box alongside COBA kids as well as mentor and tutor them. The Goal of the Trinity College/COBA Community Partnership is to orientate COBA kids to college and college life through the relationships they experience with the Trinity students as well as the planned activities on the Trinity campus in order to instill college as a real alternative and potential destination for COBA kids.
