Fetter And Van'T Hof Named Bantams OF The Week

HARTFORD, Conn – The fifth Bantams of the Week of the 2022 fall season have been selected thanks to their impressive performances on the pitch and the trail.  Trinity football senior Spencer Fetter (Winter Park, Fla.) and women's cross country senior  Anya Van't Hof (Portland, Oregon) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

Each week, the Trinity athletics website will spotlight two exceptional student-athletes – one male, one female – as the Bantams of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition from the previous week.

Fetter completed 27 of 39 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns without an interception. He threw touchdown passes of 20, 8, and 6 yards in Trinity’s 45-0 win over Hamilton.  He has thrown for over 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns this fall, while leading the Bantams to a 4-0 record.  Trinity, ranked No. 2 in New England, visits undefeated Middlebury on Saturday.

Van Hof't finished seventh overall with a time of 19:17.69 in the James Earley Invitational at Westfield State.  She led the Bantams to 14th place in the team standings in a race where Trinity ran just five women.  Trinity heads to Harkness State Park for the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday.
