Zack Grady

Zack Grady enters his fourth year as an assistant men’s soccer coach at Trinity College in 2021.  Grady came to Trinity from Wheaton College, where he coached three All-New England players and three New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Conference First Team players in two years and mentored the 2016 Rookie of the Year.  Grady worked under friend and mentor Matt Cushing at Wheaton until he passed, and then took on running the day-to-day aspects of the program while working with Wheaton's interim head coach Michael Coven, formerly of Brandeis University. He currently also works with FC Stars, a club based out of Massachusetts that routinely produces high-quality college players at all levels. He coaches the club's top team that competes in the highly regarded ECNL, which is one of the highest levels of youth soccer in the country.

Grady played soccer at Williams College, appearing in two NCAA Final Fours for the Ephs. He led the NESCAC in goals during his senior year and was named to the All-NESCAC and All-New England squads. Grady also played for the Western Mass. Pioneers and recorded an assist in the U.S. Open Cup, a historic tournament that includes MLS teams, in 2015.  Grady earned his bachelor's degree from Williams in history and has a master's degree in applied sports psychology from St. Mary's University in London. He also owns his Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
