Poulos Leads Trinity Softball To Win Over Nichols, Bantams Fall To Carthage

Kissimmee, Fla. - Freshman Katherine Poulos (Wilton, Conn.) pitched a six-hit, complete game in the circle to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 9-1 win over the Nichols College Bison in Rebel Spring Games softball action this afternoon at Osceola Complex.  Trinity, which dropped a 2-1 game against Carthage earlier in the day, closes its spring trip to Florida at 6-6.

Senior co-captain C Ariana Mullin (Woodbridge, Conn.) accounted for both Trinity hits against Carthage, including a solo home run, while sophomore RHP Kristen Anderson (West Haven, Conn.) was the hard-luck loser despite allowing just five hits in seven innings of work.  Bantam junior OF Jessica Tait (North Salem, N.Y.) belted a home run against Nichols.
