Winter Haven, Fla. – Sophomore LHP James Ramsey
(Belmont, Mass.) pitched six scoreless innings to lead the
Trinity College Bantams to a 7-0 win over the Roger Willams
University Hawks in Russmatt Central Florida Invitational baseball
action this afternoon. Trinity, ranked No. 4 in the nation,
is now 1-0, while the Hawks fall to 1-8 with their eighth
consecutive defeat. Freshman Brad Runowicz (Cheshire,
Conn.) went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in his
collegiate debut, while senior 1B Kent Graham (Longmeadow,
Mass.) went 2-for-5, anmd sophomore C Kevin
Mortimer (Spencer, Mass.) went 2-for-4 with a double and
two RBI.
